Loyalty Day

Date: Sunday, May 1st, 2022
About: Loyalty Day kicks off our Nation’s month-long celebration of military appreciation.  It is a day set aside for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States, and to reflect on the proud heritage of our American freedom.

The day can be celebrated by anyone, following the simple and easy observance about the day. Observances are as follows:

  • Attend a flag hoisting ceremony of the United States of America in memory of the celebration of freedom of America.
  • Wear the badge of the American Flag, and remember American Freedom.
  • Watch documentaries on American Freedom to gather and collect information about American Freedom.
  • Participate in parades that are held all over America to mark the Freedom struggle of Freedom fighters.
  • Or you can watch parades and cheer for the participants.
  • Make a resolution on the day about giving freedom to yourself from any of the problems to celebrate the day as your freedom. The resolution can be freeing yourself from any bad habit: smoking, alcoholism, anger issues, to point a few.
  • Visit historical places that are either built-in remembrance of the freedom fighters or are from ages and mark the independence of America, such as battlegrounds or places that mark freedom struggle.
  • Read some history about the day and the Independence and freedom struggle of America, as this can be the way to share a token of thanks to those responsible for the Independence of America.
  • Visit the National Library as the History department holds some meets and programs for the Freedom fighters on the day.
  • Every individual must pledge to do something that benefits the nation.
  • Collect and gather information about the past proclamations about the day made by the previous presidents.
  • Also, you must collect information about the newly made proclamations about the day by the president.
  • You can also organize an event to mark the celebration of the day, whether it be a theme party. Everyone has to dress like either soldiers or like freedom fighters. The event can be a historical gathering that can educate the guests about the day, its history, the independence, and the freedom of America.
  • Do not forget to post pictures on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, to name a few, with hashtags such as #NationalLoyaltyDay, #LoyaltyDay, #FreedomDay, #LoyaltyDayParade, #LoyaltyDayProclamation, to spread awareness about this day.
