Operation Holiday Cheer 2015
We stuffed a total of 530 stockings! 400 stockings contained our pillows w Star, candy and itunes gift cards. 60 stockings stuffed with candy were donated to the RI Veterans Home (thank you Lori for delivering), 40 were donated to Operation Stand Down for the Holly Charette and Brian St Germain homes, 15 to the Operation Stand Down home in Westerly and 15 to St Mary’s Soup Kitchen
We had a great visit with Lt Governor McKee who enjoyed meeting all of us and learning about our children. The LT Governor and his office (this was their first yr so they didn’t know what to expect) were totally blown away both days by the support, donations, volunteers …. He gave the RI Blue Star Moms a shout out and a lot of praise!
